Josie’s got a brother!
Red Feather Winery, Livermore, CA 11-15-09
Amy and Harmoney picked a nearby award winning vineyard, the Red Feather Winery, for the site to celebrate the coming birth of their new son. Amy and I had spoken about music, and she had told me she was a fan of the Blues.
I had selected some pieces that were upbeat, some Clapton, Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Ray Charles, and others to entertain their friends and family with.
There was a giant blue and gold Macaw that kept the kids entertained, and provided a steady flow of greetings to all that walked by. At one point in the day, there was a total blackout, and my electric set became acoustic. I easily adjusted, taking my old Gibson archtop outside, to serenade the crowd during sundown.
